CRO & Insights Manager

Impression Recruitment are working with a highly reputable business local to Knaresborough, assisting them in their search for a CRO & Insights Manager on a full time,  permanent basis. Our client is a leading the way within their industry when it comes to product innovation and quality, and as a business they have a strong focus on eco-sustainability. They are an e-commerce business with a real wow factor, and are now looking for a data driven professional, who is naturally analytical and has a passion for enhancing user experience across various platforms. To be successful in this role you will have a proven background of improving conversion rates by utilising various business insight techniques and be able to assess large volumes of data to implement new strategies with the aim of achieving further business growth and overall success. You will have a strong commercial understanding, and ideally have experience of working within an e-commerce setting, however candidates with experience in a similar role within a different industry will also be considered. Please note due to the location of our client you must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle to be successful in your application.


CRO & Insights Manager Duties:

  • Assess, improve, develop and implement a range of digital strategies to achieve highly successful conversion rates across all digital platforms.
  • Analyse large sets of data to deliver answers and provide solutions to key questions around user behaviour, funnel performance, and any areas of improvement.
  • Design and conduct A/B testing procedures, analysing the results to identify and validate suggested improvements and ensure they are implemented correctly to have positive results.
  • Work alongside marketing, design and development teams to action improvement procedures/plans.
  • Conduct regular reports on conversion rate optimisation performance and statistics, whilst using the results to make recommendations to management teams.
  • Utilise insights and results of testing to enhance the user experience across all platforms and ensure a smooth journey for all customers.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, practices and tools within CRO and overall user experience.

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of user behaviour and how to utilise this knowledge to enhance conversion rate optimisation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use tools such as Google Analytics etc.
  • Proven experience of working in a CRO position (e-commerce experience preferred but not essential).
  • Experience of conducting A/B testing procedures.
  • Quality communication and analytical skills.

As CRO & Insights Manager you will receive a salary of between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum and have access to one of the best benefits packages in the local area which includes sabbatical leave entitlement, free food Fridays, onsite games room, retail discounts and much more! You will be working 37 hours per week on a flexible basis (between the hours of 8am – 6pm) and hybrid working will be available upon completion of probation period! Pretty good right?!
