Insurance Account Executive

Impression Recruitment are working with a longstanding client within the insurance sector that have experienced exceptional growth recently, and this is testament to the hard work of their established team. Having recently bought a book of new business they are now looking to hire an Insurance Account Executive on a full time permanent basis. This is a brand new role and will be responsible for the ongoing management and renewal of commercial clients. You will focus on securing new client business as well as looking after current client renewals, whilst also maintaining partnerships with external stakeholders such as suppliers, MGAs and brokers. You will play a key role in driving business growth and maintaining relationships with multiple partners within the insurance sector as well as negotiating and obtaining quotes, binders and endorsements.

Insurance Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Managing the renewal process with SME accounts (circa 30 – 40 per month).
  • Negotiating on renewals for existing customers.
  • Gathering and recording key information and data for new and existing clients.
  • Ensure that any aged debt within your book is chased and that credit agreements are signed in relevant timeframes.
  • Confirming that the insurance a client is purchasing still covers their full needs and that there has been no change in details.
  • Coordinate all business services on a day to day basis in relation to your book of clients.
  • Deal with client queries, resolve client problems and maintain overall high levels of service.
  • Converting on any cross selling or upselling opportunities.
  • Maintain business data sing Acturis system.

Experience Required:

  • Recent experience of working in commercial insurance is essential.
  • Demonstrated success of achieving results and providing high levels of client service.
  • Acturis experience desirable but not essential.
  • Quality communication skills with the ability to build relationships.
  • Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products.
  • High degree of self-discipline and motivation.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic

As Insurance Account Executive you will receive a salary of between £25,000 – £35,000 in salary DOE as well as the potential for a discretionary bonus which could take your earnings to £37,000 per annum! This is a full time, hybrid position, primarily working in the office with one day per week from home. You will have 25 days annual leave, and access to health insurance benefits amongst others.
