A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a well-established, UK leading business who are seeking a Mortgage Advisor / Equity Release Specialist at their office in Stockton-on-Tees. This is an exciting opening to work for a leading professional service business, who pride themselves on their customer service, reputation and expertise. Both experienced, and newly qualified equity release individuals will be considered, as well as Mortgage Advisors to come in and gain further development in equity release. This role would suit a dynamic and driven individual with excellent customer service skills, used to working in a fast-paced environment. Duties as an Mortgage Advisor / Equity Release Specialist:
- Handling queries efficiently from customers in a personalised manner
- Providing specialist advice on equity release, insurance and mortgage products
- Dealing with reports and liaising with internal parties
- Proactively contacting customers, both existing and those from enquiries
- Promoting the companies’ services
- Abiding by relevant guidelines and ensuring best practice
- Updating company records accordingly
- Building relationships and ensuring unrivalled customer service
- Other ad-hoc duties relevant to the post
Skills:
- Experience within financial services/advice
- Qualified in equity release and/or mortgage advice
- Sales experience with a good administrative skillset
- Excellent customer service skills
- An organised manner with a calm approach
- A proactive nature and a positive manner
- Good communication skills on all levels
- A keen eye for detail and a desire to learn
To be successful as an Mortgage Advisor / Equity Release Specialist you will have the ability to multi-task, as well as work well as part of a team and on your own initiative. In return you will receive a salary up to £23,000 - £29,000 per annum, plus a bonus scheme taking the potential earnings up to £40,000, working to Monday-Friday, with some hybrid working options, and training and development opportunities.
