Role: Part Qualified Accountant
Location: Skipton, BD23
Salary: £26,000pa - £32,000pa depending on experience
Hours: Mon-Friday 8.45am - 5.15pm
Our client: A dynamic, well established chartered accountants have been providing trusted advice and a professional service to clients across the Skipton region for many years.
While having strong roots in agricultural accounting, our clients expertise spans a wide range of industries. They work with individuals, sole traders, partnerships, LLPs, and limited companies, offering reliable financial guidance tailored to each client’s needs.
About the role: Our client is looking for a Pro-active Part Qualified Accountant to join their team based in the Yorkshire Dales.
Responsibilities of the Part Qualified Accountant:
- Bookkeeping
- Preparation of accounts from financial statements
- Telephone communication with clients, asking for relevant / additional information required
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
- Keeping abreast of changes in financial regulations and industry trends
Experience and Qualifications of the Part Qualified Accountant:
- Working towards ACA / ACCA qualification
- Bookkeeping experience
- Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience of accounting software Sage and Xero
- Experience or knowledge of the Farming / Agricultural sector would be beneficial but not essential.
