Payroll Administrator

We are working with a thriving, well established international business, who deliver innovative solutions to clients worldwide, setting them apart from their competition. The role will be based at their Middlesbrough site and would suit a motivated and thorough individual to become part of the team, managing payroll operations both nationally and internationally.   

 

Main duties as a Payroll Administrator: 

  • Oversee the entire payroll process
  • Handle the processing of payroll payments
  • Ensure precise salary calculations in different currencies
  • Conduct UK and international salary payments via BACS and Faster Payment
  • Reconcile payroll and pension accounts and prepare annual payroll reports
  • Administer new hires, terminations, and changes to contracts
  • Maintain compliance with legal and company requirements
  • Collaborate with internal and external parties to address payroll-related queries
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and general ad-hoc duties relevant to post

 

What we’re seeking:

  • Experience within payroll administration 
  • Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Office
  • A strong attention to detail with excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills, with a strong focus on confidentiality 
  • The ability to problem-solve and work within a team-oriented environment.

To be successful as a Payroll Administrator and work for this well-respected business, you will be numerically focussed, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday and receive a salary up to £28,000 per annum, and an excellent company benefits package and a clear progression path.
