Our prestigious and highly regarded client in Harrogate is seeking a first class Receptionist & Administrator on a full time, permanent basis to work in their busy reception area. They are known for being one of the leading providers of their service in the Harrogate and North Yorkshire region. You will be working as part of a front of house team, taking responsibility for ensuring all visitors/clients of the business receive an exceptional service. You will be part of a very friendly, welcoming team and previous candidates in this post have progressed within the business to a higher level so there is certainly scope for growth! Our client is open to applications from both experienced Receptionist/Administrators, as well as candidates from a hospitality or retail background that can provide first class, professional customer service. Equally, if you are a recent school leaver or graduate then our client would like to hear from you!
Receptionist & Administrator Duties:
- Providing first class front office and general administrative services within the business.
- Meeting and greeting visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
- Diary management for colleagues and client appointments.
- Deal with any telephone and email enquires accordingly.
- Filing and archiving of company records and paperwork.
- Handle incoming post and distribute as appropriate.
- Meeting room organisation and providing refreshments as required.
- Be responsible for the daily banking duties.
- Take part in training and development activities.
- To remain confidential about client’s information.
- Assist with Health & Safety.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
- Ability to manage and complete administrative tasks.
As Receptionist & Administrator you will receive a salary of between £21,000 – £23,500 dependent on experience. This is a full time role working Monday to Friday on a split rota of both 8am – 4:30pm and 9am – 5:30pm. To be successful you will be smart, professional and highly organised and be someone that enjoys and excels dealing with people and seeing a job well done.
