We are delighted to be working with a specialised business who are a leader in their sector based in Middlesbrough. Our client is seeking a Sales Manager due to further company expansion. This is an exciting prospect working for a company who offer an array of services to various property types. This role would suit an ambitious and driven individual with demonstrated experience in Construction Sales, more specifically with Steel Frame Structures. A great opportunity to further develop the company’s customer base!

 

Duties as a Sales Manager:

  • Developing new business
  • Securing orders and increasing profitability
  • Generating leads and networking
  • Raising the company’s profile and awareness
  • Identifying new market and product opportunities
  • Driving organic sales growth
  • Working closely with internal departments
  • Updating company systems
  • Attending relevant events and meeting with suppliers
  • Maintaining and building relationships
  • Keeping customers updated
  • Meeting and exceeding sales targets

Skills:

  • Experience in Sales / Business Development positions within the Light Gauge Steel Frame or Hot Roll environments
  • Demonstrated experience winning contracts and projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A natural rapport builder
  • A strong desire to succeed with a technical aptitude
  • The ability to identify opportunities

 

To be successful as a Sales Manager you will be an organised and dynamic individual and have experience of working in a targeted and fast paced environment. In return you will receive a basic salary up to £65,000, plus a commission scheme, with additional company benefits, working Monday-Friday.
