Location: Pudsey 

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + Performance based Bonus

Hybrid: 2 days a week after probation period

We are currently recruiting for a well established and growing business providing vital operational solutions across a range of sectors and known for their professional, supportive culture, delivering high quality services that make a real difference to their client’s daily operations. 

We are currently supporting them in the search for a motivated and organised professional to join their team in the capacity of Supply Chain Manager as a brand new role introduced to the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment, gain exposure to a variety of tasks and develop your skills within a company that values growth, collaboration and innovation.

This is a hands on, accountable role focused on cost control, supplier reliability and commercial improvement. 

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Manager will include:

• Take ownership of supplier and subcontractor performance, driving continuous improvement
• Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, terms and volume agreements to achieve cost savings
• Identify, deliver and clearly evidence commercial savings and margin improvement
• Rationalise the supply base where appropriate to improve efficiency and value
• Develop and improve procurement processes and buying controls
• Work closely with operations and engineering teams to support effective service delivery
• Produce clear, accurate reporting on spend, supplier performance and supply risk
• Ensure all suppliers meet required compliance, competency and governance standards
• Meeting with supplies via teams and in person

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement or commercial management roles
• Strong negotiation capability with a demonstrable track record of delivering cost savings
• Commercially minded with the ability to work effectively alongside operational teams
• Highly detail focused and confident using data to inform decisions and support business cases
• Full UK Driving Licence required
