Technical Support Analyst

Impression Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a reputable Harrogate-based business in their search for a Technical Support Analyst on a full-time permanent basis. You will be working as part of an established and highly experienced IT technical support team, situated in modern offices with a hybrid working model. As their Technical Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective IT support service with 2nd Line responsibilities. You will ideally have 1-2 years experience in a similar role, with the desire to develop your technical IT skills further where required and a passion for delivering an exceptional service.
 
Technical Support Analyst duties:

• Log and resolve all calls from customers satisfactorily.
• Adhere to SLA’s to uphold the high quality standards within the department.
• Keep the customer updated regarding the status of the issue that has been reported.
• Ensure that all IT support logs are kept updated as required.
• Take active involvement with training and development opportunities to upskill.

Desired experience & skills:

• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
• Be adaptable to changing priorities and strong multitasking skills.
• Good general IT knowledge with ideally 1+ years’ experience at 1st line or above.
• Experience of Cisco, Meraki and Fortinet (preferable).

In return as the successful Technical Support Analyst, you will receive an excellent salary of £33,000 per annum, potentially increasing to £36,000 per annum following successful completion of the probationary period. You’ll work on a continental shift pattern, working two day shifts (7am-7pm), two night shifts (7pm-7am), before having four days off, giving you great work life balance! You’ll also work on a hybrid model, required in the office for just one shift out of the four on each pattern.
