Job Title: Temporary General Maintenance Operative

Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire

Salary: £12.71 – £15.00 per hour 

Hours: Monday to Friday

We are looking for a Temporary General Maintenance Operative to start immediately on a short term assignment (2-4 weeks).

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work.
• Complete basic painting, decorating and minor joinery tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy working environment.
• Assist with setting up and moving furniture/equipment as required.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or handyman experience.
• Good practical skills and the ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
• A valid UK driving licence is desirable.

Contract Details:

• Temporary position
• Full time hours (35 hours per week).
• Competitive hourly rate.
• Immediate start available.
