Our amazing client based in Harrogate is searching for a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
You will be joining a business who have already seen huge success throughout their journey so far and are looking for a personable, high energy individual to join and be a part of their next phase of growth, where your career progression matches your skills / ambition!

As the successful Trainee Recruitment Consultant your responsibilities will include: 

  • Attract candidates through targeted headhunting, networking, job adverts, social media and seeking recommendations/referrals.
  • Speak to candidates on the phone/via video to assess their suitability for roles.
  • Develop strong, trustworthy relationships with candidates to ensure you can match them to the best suited vacancy.
  • Handle a variety of administration tasks to support the recruitment process.
  • Support your candidates throughout the interview process by offering advice and help to prepare for interviews.
  • Assisting candidates with editing/formatting CV’s.
  • Coordinating the full recruitment process, from initial interviews to the first day of employment for the candidate.
  • Provide feedback to both clients/candidates before and after interviews.
  • Work towards agreed objectives and standards to enable success in the role.
  • Bring ideas forward to continuously improve the way business is conducted.

  • Upbeat, lively, self-motivated attitude.
  • Ability to build relationships based on trust, transparency and confidence.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisation skills.
  • Strong team player with a sense of humour and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to adapt and get involved in a fast-paced environment.
  • Goal focused and motivated to hit objectives and targets.
  • Articulate phone manner, computer skills and IT literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel).

In return, as Trainee Recruitment Consultant you will receive a basic salary between £20,000 – £22,000 per annum with an uncapped commission / bonus structure (first year OTE of £30,000 – £40,000) and a clear pathway to develop your own desk and earn in excess of £100,000 in future as a Senior Consultant!
