Impression Recruitment are proudly working with a top employer in the Guiseley area, who continue to experience a growth in market share and require additional support with a newly created position of Litigation Assistant. Your role will be to support the Head of Legal in providing a professional, efficient and effective support service. The support tasks will be generally administrative but may involve being accountable for specific litigation processes.
Duties as Litigation Assistant to include:
- To work and achieve all SLA’s set in relation to the administrative and support activity.
- Always communicate in various forms professionally and effectively with all parties.
- Negotiate to maximise the net recovery levels required.
- Drafting initial claims.
- Comply with all regulatory and ethical standards.
- Deliver all tasks to a high standard of quality combined with the expected level of output for the activities actioned.
What we are seeking from the successful applicant:
- Prior litigation experience.
- Ability and desire to work towards deadlines with a flexible approach to achieve desired end results.
- Competent negotiation skills.
- Confidence to deal with various parties and manage relationships.
- Strong IT skills including MS Word & Excel.
As Litigation Assistant you will initially start on a 6 month contract with the view of a longer term permanent option. The salary offering for this role will be in the region of £25,000 – £28,000 depending on your level of experience and you will also gain access to the company’s rewarding benefits package.
